Students who are interested in studying Chinese in 6th grade are encouraged to participate in the Glastonbury Public Schools' summer programs.
The Seal of Biliteracy is an award given by the Glastonbury Public Schools in recognition of students who have studied and attained proficiency in two or more languages by high school graduation. The Seal of Biliteracy takes the form of a gold seal that appears on the diploma of the graduating senior and is a statement of accomplishment for future employers and for college admissions.
Students choosing to study Chinese will have the opportunity to meet the requirements for the Seal of Biliteracy by the time they graduate from Glastonbury High School.
