Glastonbury Public Schools World Language
Curriculum
Glastonbury's world language curriculum is content-based and aligned with local and national goals and standards for world language learning. Throughout our long sequence of content instruction in the target language, students develop both their language skills and cultural knowledge. Our curriculum is culture-driven and has an essential question for each language and level to guide instruction.
At the High School level, students are expected to pass four required graduation standards and ten out of eighteen additional graduation standards. By studying a world language in high school, students have the opportunity to meet four of these standards. Please refer to the links under "Our Curriculum" above for detailed information on Glastonbury Public School's world language curriculum.
