2024 Update

We are back!  We are excited to host our 2024 summer programs in person.  As part of a new national STARTALK model, all programs will be required to offer a pre- and post- summer program component.

We are excited about our 2024 STARTALK Summer Programs which will implement this new format (same as 2023). It will include a pre-program in the late spring of 2024, the summer camp experience (June 24 - July 12), and a post-program for students throughout the 2024-2025 school year.  When applying for this new format of the STARTALK program, participants are committing to the pre- and post- program activities in addition to the summer camp experience.

Health & Safety Information

STARTALK programs will follow the Glastonbury Public Schools' COVID Protocols, as they apply at the time.  Please check the District Website for updates.

An intensive year-long Chinese program with a three-week non-residential summer program that will allow beginning and intermediate students of Chinese to develop both speaking and writing abilities as well as the understanding of Chinese culture. In addition to the summer experience, students enrolling in the program will be required to participate in both a pre-program (held on weekends in late spring) and a post-program (held on weekends throughout the 2024-2025 academic year). This program is sponsored by Glastonbury Public Schools in collaboration with STARTALK.
