About the Costa Rica Immersion Trip
This unforgettable experience is anticipated for February 12–20, 2027 and will provide students with opportunities to stroll through the vibrant streets of San José, explore the Monteverde Cloud Forest, learn to cook traditional Costa Rican dishes, and observe wildlife in the Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge. Students may stay with host families and will engage in authentic cultural experiences that bring language learning to life. *This trip is pending approval from the Board of Education.

Current Status
We will begin recruiting travelers in the fall of 2026.
The trip will be open to students in grades 9–12 who are currently enrolled in Spanish or who have completed the GHS Spanish sequence.
The anticipated cost is approximately $4,000.
