Health & Safety Information
In-person summer camps will adhere to all COVID-19 health and safety protocols that are in place. We will continue to adapt health practices as virus conditions in our community change.
What
An intensive three-week non-residential program that will allow beginning and intermediate students of Russian to develop both speaking and writing abilities as well as the understanding of Russian culture. The program will include interactive activities for the novice Russian student. This program is sponsored by Glastonbury Public Schools.
Who
Rising 7th grade students who are highly motivated and enthusiastic to learn Russian in an intensive program. This is a non-residential program for students who live in the Glastonbury area. If you have a child who is interested in establishing a foundation in Russian, please sign up. Enrollment is limited to 12 students on a first-come, first-serve basis. Because of the intensive nature of the program, students are expected to attend all sessions. The camp is partially funded through a federal grant and requires a three-week commitment to the program.
When
June 27 - July 15 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. There is no class July 4th. Students are to not to be dropped off before 8:55 am and should be picked up promptly at 12:00 pm.

Registration
The cost is $200 for Glastonbury students and $225 for out of district students. This fee covers the cost of program supplies. Scholarship funds are available for those who demonstrate need. See application instructions below. Registration is open to out of town residents after May 15th.
Note: Refunds will not be issued after June 1, 2022.

Behavioral Expectations
Student behavioral expectations are the same as during the regular school year. All school rules apply. Students are asked to bring their own nut-free snack to camp.
